About Us!

namaste!
i'm the well travelled guru. how well travelled you ask? well, i've been to all 7 continents(yes i know antarctica is a continent, and yes, i've been there), and to over 90 countries and obscure islands. i dive too, and even have a "shark diving specialist" certification earned abroad in tahiti(i think that card even trumps a platinum VISA, right?).
i've been told by many that my travel expertise should no longer be kept a secret, so now i've decided to pass on my travel savvy to YOU! hey it's good karma, and we're all for broadening your horizons. our goal is to aid those who desire to travel but have a “fiji h20 taste, but a tap water budget”(can i get an AMEN?), and also to provide some soul food on which to nosh from time to time.

let's face it…if you're not living on the edge, you're just taking up too much room!

and for any of us who have chosen to travel, we know all too well…

“the world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page!” true dat.

so come along with me and my loyal and trusted sherpa don.

you just never know where you'll find us next.

Saluton, こんにちは, And All That Jazz~
That's Esperanto, Japanese, and a catch-all for all the other ways I know how to say "hello".

Sherpa Don here to explain all about him now!

The Guru and I have been friends for a good while, and I figured that if I'm having fun and helping out while traveling about, I wouldn't mind helping to carry the load once in a while. Though I'm nowhere near as travelled as my dear friend, I've had my own experiences in International travel from the United States to a bit of Japan, a side of Hong Kong, and a generous helping of the Philippines.
What I do bring to the picnic are my own unique skills that involve computers, and using them in such a way that makes my friendship with the Well-Travelled Guru quite symbiotic. She loves travel, I love technology; probably a good combination with something that starts online.
Sure I'll have my own little quips at times, but expect me to do a lot of the behind the scenes work which includes, but is in no way limited to, being available whenever a hapless stuffed animal needs some love(see photo).
